“ This is a solid spot for Indian food, although not my go to place. I've had take outs from here several times, and never been disappointed. The spicy levels are what I expect from an Indian place, so I recommend starting lower and working up. When I did pickup the food was ready exactly when expected, and getting the food was easy and efficient. ”
“ Continue to go once a week for lunch and just love Roy Spice. Had the lamb korma today and it was perfect. The staff is great also so friendly and accommodating. On a cold day it's great to sit down and get your warm soup right away. ”
“ Picked up lunch from here last week, we ordered the chicken tikka and garlic naan. We decided to go with medium spice and it was pretty spicy. The naan was very good but a little over toasted in some places where it was more chip like bread. ”
“ Every time we are in the area we have to stop at either one of the Royal Spice locations. I am vegan and they have plenty of options. The food is amazing. Granted i did have aluminum foil in my meal the first time i went to this specific location. The waiter asked if we wanted a new plate but didn't really seem like he wanted to offer a discount or anything at all for the aluminum being in my food in the beginning, but he wound up offering a free puff bread for the inconvenience. Other than that experience, the food was really good ”
“ To go restaurant for us! They offer perfect portions of authentic Indian food, friendly staff, and excellent customer service. ”
“ Small, quaint restaurant located in a cute area full of other restaurants and stores. They seem to have e regulars being that many were on first name basis, I see that as a good sign, people that always return. Staff was polite but a little reserved at times, but was great at explaining. Our dishes were brought out quickly and I was thankful for that. The meat was super soft and flavors were there but at one point my food did taste a little too sweet for my preference but I did order a dish with pineapple so, that is on me. Samosas were also a little dry but being honest, I would give their place another try. Their menu is extensive and it showed so many good options. ”
“ Stopped in for lunch after finding them on Yelp. Not only was the good delicious but the customer service was exceptional. So glad to have found a great Indian spot. I will definitely be back ! ”
“ Yesterday I finally tried Indian food and it did not disappoint at all! I had the lunch special and the meal I chose was butter chicken, and it came with broccoli, rice, Naan, soup and this onion pakora that was actually really good. They give a really good amount of food for the price and I appreciate that! The inside looked clean and the people were really nice and patient with me with it being my first time and not really knowing anything. Everything minus the butter chicken was a 10/10. The butter chicken was good! It just taste like regular curry chicken and taste like they use breast so it was oh so slightly on the dry side. But someone told me that their lamb was amazing so I will definitely be back and try that next time! ”
“ I've visited Royal Spice's Dunwoody location on many occasions and I think they have some of the best and most authentic Indian food in the area. Their menu has so many different options of appetizers, curries and much more. I've only had an opportunity to try a select handful of items, but each dish I've had has been delicious and I feel confident that everything else would be just as good. I'm a fairly basic person when it comes to curry, so I'm very familiar with their butter chicken and their chicken tikka masala. Although fairly similar, you can definitely distinguish between the two at Royal Spice. The tikka masala is definitely a bit sweeter. However, both curries are fragrant and taste delicious. The chicken cubes are tender and absorb the flavor of the curry quite well. I've also had their chicken biryani and this is one of my favorite biryanis. The saffron they use in the rice is evident throughout, and the flavors compliment each other quite well. There's spice, some earthiness, and pairing it with the yogurt adds a lightness and creaminess to the dish. It is simply fantastic. On the vegetarian front, I've had their bhindi masala (okra) and their palak paneer. The vegetables they use in those dishes taste fresh and they tend to make the vegetarian dishes stand out more with extra spice. I found these two dishes to be spicier than the meat dishes, at the same heat level. The portion sizes at Royal Spice are a plus. They serve you a lot of curry for the price, and isn't stingy about the rice. As someone who will come here alone most times, getting one curry is enough. The ambiance of the restaurant is bright and cozy and service has always been attentive. I will absolutely continue to visit Royal Spice. I haven't even been able to try out their lunch special, which I hear is a big hit! ”
